July Envase Team Member Spotlight

Get to know this month’s Envase Team Member Spotlight: Egidio (EG) Fortuna, Senior Specialist of Customer Support & IT at Envase Technologies. Don’t forget to check out last months team member spotlight and learn more about the interesting people who make up the Envase team!

How long have you worked at ENVASE? What is your job & favorite part of it?

EG: I have been working with Envase since we have been purchased at the end of last year. My favourite part is helping consolidate some of the technology within the company and streamlining processes.

What is your favorite TV show and character?

EG: Well, when you have young kids, you kind of watch what they watch. I enjoy Paw Patrol the most and my favorite character is Rubble!

Name one ENVASE member you would take on a road trip, and why?

EG: That would be Brandon Clayton. We work well together and had quite a bit of fun working on the email migration.

What is the weirdest food you have ever tried?

EG: I am not really a (try new things) kind of guy when it comes to food, but the weirdest thing I have eaten recently would be popcorn smothered in peanut butter.

Is there a peculiar family tradition that you have?

EG: Twice a year my family goes all out and makes a (Fried Fish Feast) where there is no red meat or chicken, only fish with rice, potatoes, and salad!

What is the first thing you are going to do once the pandemic is over?

EG: First thing I will do is go shopping! Clothes, tech, food, anything I can spend money on.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

EG: The ability to eat all day and not gain weight would be the best!

What is something new you would like to learn this year?

EG: I would like to learn more about our new Vonage phone system so I can provide better troubleshooting to Envase employees when issues arise.

What’s one thing about you that no one knows in the organization?

EG: I keep an open book with the Tailwind team, but the rest of the company does not know I used to run multiple half marathons a year.
